Commonly the Diesel generating sets sticky cylinder occured in the situation that the 

diesel engine severe was water shortaged  . the engine  run weak before  ,  the sticky 

cylinder .the water temperature is more than 100 ℃ .put  a few drops of cold water to

the engine body, there was  "hiss" sound, and take white smoke, water droplets soon 

evaporated. Then we should make the engine  operation in low speed or idle running 

to reduce the temperature. if the car  flameout immediately, it will make  the piston 

and cylinder liner  sticked .
